So they took a Cayman and put an Artega GT bumper cover on it, a completed the look with a pair of Twingo DRLs.

I prefered the older concept

In my top 10 fav cars ever. The sound. THE SOUND!

They did hot passes a few years ago at a race track and people in the stands said the 110-50 was louder than the entire GP2 field combined.

Please, not this again. The A110-50 could not be produced. It’s like asking “why can’t I buy an LMP2 car for the street?”

Also, take a look at an Alpine A110 and you’ll see that this concept’s inspiration is not the Cayman.

If you like that look up the Mégane V6 Trophy, it was a one-make race series and the Alpine A110-50 used the engine and chassis of those cars.

Production version unveiled in 2016, on sale second trimester of 2017.

They just did a huge press event where they unveiled this thing, announced the new management of Alpine and explained their plans for production.

So I would say it’s pretty much 110% certain it’s happening.

Love the headlights, but I wish they hadn’t made us wait so long for what is essentially the exact same car they unveiled at Le Mans last year, but with an interior. Can’t wait to see them on the street either way.

I know it’s inspired by the A110, hence the bumps on the hood to remind the latches and the stainless from the old model. But it looks a bit more like a Cayman than an A110.
It’s just that the new model looks rather bland in my opinion.
